The group's principal activities are to develop, produce and market vegetable and fruit seeds throughout the world. It develops seeds designed to reduce the need for chemicals, increase crop yield, reduce spoilage, offer longer shelf life and create tastier foods with better nutrition. The group is a majority-owned subsidiary of savia, s.a. De c.v. The group produces more than 60 species and 4,000 vegetable and fruit seed products. The seeds are marketed through three full-line brands: asgrow, petoseed and royal sluis and five specialty and regional brands. The product lines marketed under these brands cover most species of vegetables and fruits including beans, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, Chinese cabbage, cucumbers, eggplant, leeks, lettuce, melons, onions, peas, peppers, pumpkin, radish, spinach, squash, sweet corn, tomatoes and watermelon. The seeds are marketed in over 120 countries.
